Created by the vision of an independent OD and an optician, the company has always served the needs of the optical community. Throughout the years, Select Optical has been called upon to lead the way in helping the OD market their practice by offering the latest in products and services. Unique “Package Programs”, in-office staff trainings, and lab tours help the OD, opticians, and their staff better relate to their patients eyewear needs.

     

The management team of Select Optical covers 3 generations and employs 120 associates, many with 10 or more years with the company Leading the team are Del and Chip Lothes. They have a combined total of 83 years of optical experience.

     

Select Optical offers many options for the OD with industrial safety glasses, computer and anti-fatigue lenses, the latest in hi index and polycarbonate technology, as well as lenses that are digitally surfaced which gives vision comparable to the picture you see on a digital hi-def TV!

Select Optical gives back to the Columbus community by producing more than 3,000 pairs of glasses annually for Faith Mission(Open Shelter), Prevent Blindness Ohio and The Ohio State University.
